Hard Update Feel Like Quitting for over 3 years Been playing

So yesterday morning I woke up and played minecraft(before update)and I played Skywars and all those servers then later I went to the App Store on the iPad to check if there were any updates to Minecraft and there was but I saw no special updated things added except for bugs in the game so I updated it anyway to see what it added so after 30 seconds I went back went to Skywars and I disconected so I went to another server and I came in I was happy so I went and clicked the sighn and it said you cant place a block here I felt like I was a hacker but I was not so please Mojang Fix This Update
